Aspire EVO75 Kit Review
Posted by
onThe Aspire EVO75 Kit is designed to offer everything a beginner needs to experience high performance vaping in one high quality, good value package. The kit consists of the highly reliable NX75 Box Mod and the latest Aspire Atlantis EVO Sub-Ohm Tank and currently retails for around $68, although it may be possible to pick it up at a discounted price online.
The kit offers several notable benefits, including solid construction, an intuitive box mod menu system, and a level of powerful performance that is not usually associated with this kind of kit. It also offers customizable firing button profiles with three memory settings, which allow the user to increase and decrease the wattage output by the second for ultra precise control.
While this all sounds good on paper, is the Aspire EVO75 Kit actually a good option in a crowded marketplace? Let’s find out in our in-depth review…
Design, Interface and Features
NX75 Box Mod: Design
The NX75 is constructed from die-cast zinc alloy and is available in three different color choices – black, white and stainless steel. Although it’s very much a personal choice, the stainless steel version is particularly eye-catching.
First impressions are that this is a very solid piece of kit. While it is relatively small and compact, it also feels reassuringly heavy and leaves you with an overall feeling of quality construction, which gives you confidence that it is built to last.
Overall, the design and construction are very nice, although the relatively heavy weight could be a problem for some.
NX75 Box Mod: Interface
One of the things that make the NX75 stand out is that it offers a five-button interface, which it is claimed eliminates the need for complicated menu and puts the vaper in full control of the various modes.
On the front of the device, you’ll find buttons that give you one-touch access to all of the main controls – a fire button, temperature and wattage control buttons, and your +/- controls. There is also an OLED display that shows you the selected mode, temperature, wattage, battery charge, and other useful information. A nice feature of this is that the screen rotates depending on how you hold the unit, much like the display on your smartphone.
Overall, the interface is generally very easy to use and something that puts it above several leading competitors. As with any kit, there is going to be a slight learning curve if you’re a complete beginner to vaping, but this is definitely one of the simpler models on the market.
NX75 Box Mod: Features
Firstly, the NX75 features fully customizable firing button profiles with three memory settings, which allow you to increase and decrease the wattage output by the second for ultra-precise control. This is an extremely useful feature and something that is seen here on an Aspire product for the first time – and from looking at what users are saying, it is certainly a very popular inclusion!
You’ll also find full temperature control, which can be adjusted to between 200 and 600 degrees Fahrenheit. The device offers Ni200, Nickel, Titanium and Stainless Steel 316L support, plus a three-memory TCR mode.
For maximum convenience, the NX75 features a rapid charging port and an innovative battery bay that supports one 18650 battery. Child safety is also a concern for many vapers, so it’s also nice to see that the NX75 features a child lock with a three-digit numerical password. No longer will you need to worry about the safety of your curious child.
Another nice feature of this kit is the 0.86 Inch OLED screen, which allows you to fully control the device and shows information such as the remaining battery life, output wattage, temperature, and output mode. A very nice feature is that the logo display can be fully customized, which means that you can really make the device your own, whilst it’s also good to see an auto rotating display. Little features like this really add up when you are using the device every single day.
Aspire Atlantis EVO Sub-Ohm Tank
The Atlantis EVO tank is the latest tank from Aspire Atlantis line and features an efficient chimney-less design that is specifically designed for ultra efficient high VG E-Liquids.
The tank measures 22mm in diameter and is constructed using stainless steel and glass. The tank has a vertical coil arrangement and has a quad adjustable airflow, which can range from 2mm to 7mm.
The unit features a high 2.0ml capacity tank, which can be loaded by unscrewing the cap on the top of the tank. Although this is a relatively simple task, a little care needs to be taken when doing it in order to avoid spilling the liquid.
One notable feature is that the tank comes with two coils: a 0.4ohm coil and a 0.5ohm coil, with both offering different levels of flavor and vapor production. Which one you prefer will ultimately depend on your personal preferences, but this is a very nice feature and one that gives you an additional level of control that can’t be found on many tanks. It is certainly good to be able to tailor the vaping experiences to your exact personal preference, and it means that this kit is likely to appeal to more experienced vapers, as well the traditional core market of beginners.
Aspire EVO75 Kit: The Final Verdict
The Aspire EVO75 Kit is a product that is certainly worthy of your consideration. Unlike many starter kits found on the market, the EVO75 is likely to appeal to both beginners and experienced vapers, with high levels of performance, an intuitive interface, and plenty of customizable options.
We really like the five-button interface on the NX75 Box Mod, which puts all of the main controls at your fingertips without the need to continually go through complicated menus and options like on some devices. The screen is also nice and adds to the experience, while it is good to see that child-safety options have been included for peace of mind.
In addition, it is impressive that the kit offers such high levels of performance, while it is also certainly beneficial to have so many customizable options so that you can tailor the vaping experience to your exact preferences. The two coil heads on the Atlantis Tank provide two very different vaping experiences.
What about the drawbacks of this kit? Well, it certainly isn’t the cheapest kit on the market, while some people might also find that the NX75 Mod it is a little on the heavy side – but we feel that this is made up for by the high-quality construction, advanced features, and high-performance levels.
Overall, if you’re searching for a good vaping experience at a reasonable price then this kit is certainly worthy of your consideration. It is good to find a product that is easy to use, while also providing many different customization options – and while it’s not the cheapest kit, the quality of the product gives you the confidence that your purchase will stand the test of time.
