Kangertech CUPTI All-In-One 75W TC Review

onKanger CUPTI is your all-in-one vape starter kit similar to the NEBOX, but with an improved and upgraded design and performance. The CUPTI features a top-fill and leak-free design, which leaking issue was a problem for the NEBOX. The CUPTI fixed the negative aspect of the NEBOX and creating something more spectacular. The Kanger designed box mod is beautifully constructed featuring an internal tank system. Now you don’t have to worry about finding the correct tank and mod to match up when the mod and tank go hand in hand that is great for everyone and even beginners.
Build and Design
The design of the CUPTI is built similar to the NEBOX using the same concept. Coming in 3 glossy colors of black, red, and white, Kangertech released 2 more colors of gold and rose gold with a different finish. The CUPTI AIO measures at a height of 82mm, 50mm in length, and 22.5mm in diameter made with zinc and aluminum alloy. With a round shape design, the design fits great in hands for a solid impression. It is ideal to carry in your pocket without taking up too much space. Since the tank is built into the device, there will no concern of the tank getting loose from the mod.
The AIO kit can hold up to 5ml featuring a top fill. This helps avoid leaking issue that came with the NEBOX. With a transparent glass, it allows you to view the amount of e-liquid available on both sides of the device. A max line can be found on the glass to avoid users from overfilling their device. Filling the tank can be a little messy because you would have to remove the whole chimney section including the coils when filling, but it is leak-free so that’s a huge plus. Filling your e-liquid is much faster than your standard tank, because of the large opening.
While the NEBOX includes a bottom airflow without any adjustment, this was one of the causes of where the e-liquid was leaking from. The new CUPTI uses a top airflow control to prevent the device from leaking at the bottom. Airflow adjustment is critical in obtaining your preferred vape setting.
The kit includes two different 510 drip tip, where one is a wide drip tip of 10.5mm for a bigger draw and direct lung hit, and the other one a 6mm drip tip for a tighter draw.
The OLED screen is mounted on the top of the device along with the adjustment buttons. Since it is on top of the device, reading the setting is much easier with a lesser chance of accidental firing of the device. Instead of a thin strip screen along the side, the device features a more square like screen measuring at 12.6mm x 7mm. The display will show the current mode, temperature/wattage, battery life, resistance of atomizer, and power level.
The firing button is inset at your typical standard position on the side near the top. The oval shaped firing button is kind of small for a firing button, which would be better if it was larger. The buttons do rattle but didn’t find a big issue of that, which didn’t affect the performance or quality.
A single 18650 battery is required for the CUPTI tank. The battery cover uses spring loaded door that requires a push to slide open. The cover will hold the battery in place, without having seen any issues with the door opening on accident. The device comes with micro USB charging and it includes the cable for it. An external battery charger will be more persistent in charging the battery compared to the micro USB plug. The kit also includes battery stickers so different colored batteries match the device when viewing through the cooling vent.
Performance
The CUPTI is a high-performance all-in-one device capable of reaching 75W. Integrated with temperature control mode of Nickel 200, Titanium, Stainless Steel, and Nichrome, the CUPTI adds more flexibility to the device allowing you to use different types of coils. The wattage is increased and decreased in 0.1W increments and the temperature adjustment in 10°F and 5°C increments.
Kanger came out a new type of coils for the CUPTI called CLOCC. The kit includes a CLOCC SS316L 0.5Ω and CLOCC Ni-chrome 1.5Ω. The coil has a wide diameter giving it a longer life span with cooler vapor. In performance wise, the SS316L provided heavier taste and clouds while the Nichrome provided more throat to lung hit. This is probably due to the resistance with lower resistance providing more vapor production.
The performance is solid with great vapor production and flavor. The CUPTI performs like many sub ohm devices out in the market for being an all-in-one device. There are some issues with spit back and gurgling when adding a new coil in. Besides that issue, performance is exceptional making vaping convenient. And of course, you can always build your own coil by purchasing an RBA base for the CUPTI.
Conclusion
There is denying that is this all-in-one kit simplifies the design with a built-in internal tank. This makes things easier when filling the e-liquid without having to worry about an external tank. And it holds a large e-liquid capacity for a smaller box mod. The mod and tank are designed to go hand in hand. The design of the CUPTI is striking with a clean cut look.
Vapor production and flavor is jam-packed when using the stainless steel coil. The Nichrome is better for those wanting more of a throat to lung hit. With huge selections of different coils to choose from, the CUPTI will allow you to find your perfect vape. And the best part is it doesn’t leak! For now, that is.
