Vaporesso Gemini RTA Review
Posted by
onThe Vaporesso Gemini is an RTA (rebuildable tank atomizer) and comes with swanky features like a large amount of airflow options, juice flow control, and dual Velocity-style posts with huge build deck. The tank can hold up to 3.5 ml of juice and design is intended for single or dual coils with leak free attribute.
Styling
The Gemini comes with a superior design that looks good and works well. The manufacturing standard is quite high, and it comes with a trim and dynamically built. The main body is cylindrical and quite tall. This allows for a lot of space for the juice tank. Also, the cylindrical body makes it easier to be held. The Vaporesso Gemini uses stainless steel for the body and has a transparent sturdy glass at places giving it a classy touch. The use of steel also makes the vaporizer quite durable. The pack also comes with an extra glass tube, if in case they need to be replaced. There is also a different set of drip tips with varying sizes so that you can regulate the juice flow as per your taste. Not only that, you can regularly change the top airflow and regulate the airflow to liking with a top filling design. This vaporizer has almost all the features that are expected to be present in an RTA, all of which work with satisfaction.
Airflow
The airflow in this vaporizer is rather pleasing but not greatly massive of some sub ohm tanks but the airflow can be adjusted to whichever degree preferred. The airflow can be regulated both from the bottom and the top openings. In fact, there are three vertical bars, each with three openings. These are fitted within the rim, and the elevation of these bars can be increased or decreased to regulate air flow. All the slots are open means that there is an excessive air flow, whereas when the slots are more closed the resistance while vaping is higher for a stronger lung hit. In addition to these slots, there is also a center slot that lets air directly downwards. This ensures that the coils are hit directly from behind.
One thing to be noted is that the Gemini is more suited for those vampires who likes inhale directly to the lungs. So if you like a lot of airflow, then this tank is certainly the thing for you. However, if you’re not very fond of direct lungs smoking, you can close up the slots to give it more resistance. This might help a bit, but the air flow is still quite a lot for the mouth to lung vaping. So the verdict is that the Gemini RTA is designed to directly hit the lungs with good flavor and vapor production.
Body Design
There are four slots on the coil chamber inside the tank to regulate the flow of the liquid. Adjustments can be made by rotating the midsection of the cylindrical tube. The deck is spacious and comes with solid fittings, and the top cap secures the body of the tube while its top part contains drip holes for top filling. One great thing is that the Vaporesso Gemini is completely leaked free and this is the most important thing in vaping. A messy leakage adds no pleasant experience to vaping. If the tank seems like leaking after the refilling, just hold it upside for 10 to 15 seconds. This will stop the leaking. Although this is not a guarantee as to whether leakages will occur in future, for the most part, the Gemini gives a typical leak free vaping experience.
Usage
Using the Gemini is extremely simple which can be attributed to the excellent fit and design that it comes with. You can cut the wicking flush with the deck and push it into the juice channel. There is a ring on the on the build deck which will hold the wick in place. However, if you try to put too many wicks at a time, it might cause the juice to overflow, and you will end up with a sticky mess. The filling is also simple, although the cap could be a little stiff when new. Since the air flow can get knocked, make sure that it is set exactly the way you want before vaping. Also, check that your juice flow is controlled while filing.
Performance
With perfect wicking, the Gemini can easily handle higher power. It also perfectly brings out the flavor of whichever filling you use. The vapor production is also huge. In fact, if you are smoking indoors, the room can get quickly covered in a thick cloud. You are also likely not to have dry hits because the juice flow can be easily adjusted. Or you can stick to lower wattage like 40 to 50 to avoid this.
The Gemini also has some drawbacks. It would have been easier to open the top screw if it had at least some rigs or killing in it. Also, the body should remain fixed, but in this case, rotating the body changes juice flow into the coils. Although the airflow can be adjusted, more airflow means the juices are burning up faster. You might like to keep a check on that.
Overview
With a spacious deck, easy filling, and no leaking, the Gemini provides an excellent vaping experience. Also, it brings out the flavors very perfectly at the same time giving off thick vapors. The air flow can be adjusted as per choice, and it can also hold a lot of juice. So for heavy vapers, this is certain things to be recommended.
