Tesla Stealth 100W Review
Posted by
onThe Tesla Stealth 100W is a miniature box mod capable of reach a maximum wattage of 100W made and manufactured by Teslacigs. The Stealth is a perfect hand sized mod with easy to use functions. It is small enough to carry around with enough muscle to power sub ohm atomizers.
Design
The design of the Stealth is unique compared to your typical box mod. It features a body where the tank is fitted into the body of the mod with 2 straps holding it into place. The Stealth can fit tanks with a diameter of 22.5mm and less whereas height is not an issue for fitting the tank into the device. Even though the tank and mod look great tailored together, it can restrict the airflow if the tank contains many airflow slots. Adjustment can be a little difficult when attached to the body of the mod.
The measurement of the device will show you why the device is small compared to most 100W devices. It measures at a height of 70mm (2.75inches), with a length of 49.5mm (1.95inches), and a width of 25mm (0.98inch). It is constructed of zinc alloy with a rubber coating for a gripper and durable build.
The Tesla Stealth utilizes a built-in internal 2200mAh Li-Po battery without requiring an external battery. The Stealth has micro USB charging that is on the side of the device. With a top firing button, it might be weird getting used to pressing the button when typically the button is on the edge of the device. But it will be comfortable once getting used to it because of its hand size build. This can be great in preventing accidental firing due to the firing button on top, less likely coming into contact with objects. It is always recommended you turn off the device when not using it to prevent any accident.
Performance
The performance of the Stealth is great for such a compact device. The ability to reach 100W makes it a perfect match with many sub ohm tanks out in the market. But the flaw of that is the mod is not variable wattage, which you can’t adjust. The chipset uses a smart technology that delivers a 4.2V output with atomizer resistance from 0.1Ω to 3.5Ω. It will self-regulate the device based on the resistance of the atomizer to obtain the 4.2V output. This is a great feature for those who are looking for something basic and easy to use especially for beginners.
As for advanced users, the Stealth would not be ideal for those who prefer to set their own settings. You won’t be able to decrease or increase the power as its goal to only obtain 4.2V output. Since the device is only set in wattage mode, the device would not be able to go into temperature mode, so it work with only Kanthal or Stainless Steel coils. This does limit the flexibility of the Stealth.
Conclusion
The Stealth is a great compact box mod perfect to carry around. Fits perfectly in pockets, not worrying too much space it takes. The huge 2200mAh internal battery makes things easier without having to worry about an extra part for the device. The micro USB charging makes it convenience, which is pretty quick to charge.
This is a great device for those who looking for something easy to use with just basic features. It is limited on what you can do, not for someone who wants to really change the settings of the vape. The device is great for novices that will surely power your sub ohm tanks. You can’t go wrong with this quality build coming with the perfect size and price.
